Basketball Recap: Kirksville Comes Up Short

Kirksville lost against Capital City back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kirksville Tigers took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital City Cavaliers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kirksville's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Capital City, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Kirksville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-40 defeat against Southern Boone on the 8th. As for Capital City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-38 loss against St. Elizabeth on the 8th.
