Volleyball Recap: Parlier Comes Up Short

Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Washington Union. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Washington Union this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

While Parlier was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Washington Union's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-21.

Parlier's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Washington Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parlier will venture away from home to challenge Wonderful College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Washington Union, they will head out to square off against Selma at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
