If Fort Campbell was riding high off their 9-1 takedown of Heritage Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fort Campbell Falcons fell just short of the West Creek Coyote by a score of 12-11 on Monday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

For West Creek's part, Alisha Audate made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Fort Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Fort Campbell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-3 loss vs. Todd County Central on the 19th. West Creek has also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Clarksville on the 20th.
