Bell Gardens waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Magnolia Sentinels.

Bell Gardens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-20.

Bell Gardens' victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Magnolia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Bell Gardens will challenge San Gabriel at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Magnolia, they will square off against Century at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
