The Faith Christian Saints will square off against the School of the Woods Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Having struggled with ten defeats in a row dating back to last season, Faith Christian turned things around against Chinquapin Prep on Tuesday. They took down the Burrs 47-32. The Saints' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Faith Christian found their leader in sophomore Bryan Galvan, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Galvan a new career-high in boards. Jayden Avila was another key player, putting up 12 points along with seven boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, School of the Woods had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-18 win over the Bears. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.
Faith Christian better focus on containing Rami Keyhani and Adam Zagaar as the pair were huge in School of the Woods' win. Keyhani posted 12 points and six rebounds, while Zagaar had 11 points and four steals. Zagaar has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Pace Graff, who put up 11 points.
Faith Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for School of the Woods, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Faith Christian has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.3 boards per game. However, it's not like School of the Woods struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
