Charlotte Latin waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Calvary Day School Cougars by a score of 2-0. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Ava Nadeau paced Charlotte Latin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Nadeau got some help from Emily Cao and her 21 assists. Scarlett Black controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Charlotte Latin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calvary Day School, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Charlotte Latin has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against St. David's on the 9th. As for Calvary Day School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
