            Baseball Recap: Anderson C Cavaliers vs. Augusta E Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Anderson C had lost four straight on the road, but  on Saturday they dropped their record down to 6-7 to make it five. They came up short against  the Augusta E Eagles, falling  13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  10-0  on Saturday.
As for Augusta E, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6. Considering they have won seven games by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 For Augusta E's part, they got a  massive  performance out of  Jaiden Jacobsen, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  Jacobsen has posted since back in February.  Carson Brown was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson C will venture away from home to  face off against Greenwood Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 8.5  runs per game this season. As for Augusta E, they will head out on the road to  take on  Providence Athletic Club  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.38  runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
