Softball Recap: Fruitland Comes Up Short

Fruitland lost against Gooding back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fruitland came up short against Gooding, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly ten runs.

Fruitland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Gooding's victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Fruitland has already played their next matchup, a 20-0 loss against Middleton on the 22nd. As for Gooding, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wendell at 4:00 p.m. on April 1.
