Soccer Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

After flying high against Swett on Monday, Emerald came back down to earth. The Aerouants lost 7-0 to the Deer Valley Wolverines on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Deer Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in December of 2025.

Emerald has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13-1 record this season. As for Deer Valley, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Emerald will take on rival Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Deer Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
