Basketball Game Preview: Camden Bulldogs vs. Laurens Raiders

The Camden Bulldogs will challenge the Laurens Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68 points per game this season.

Camden took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down A.C. Flora 57-40.

Camden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shanaryah Wright, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Wright has been hot, having posted 11 or more boards the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jillian Rush, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Camden was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as A.C. Flora only racked up eight assists.

Meanwhile, Laurens strolled past Emerald with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 54-35.

Laurens' win came from a few key players Camden will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zoe Young, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. Laurens is undefeated when Young posts 20 or more points, but 8-13 otherwise. Nyri Allen was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Laurens pushed their record up to 12-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Camden, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
