Volleyball Recap: DeWitt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

DeWitt lost against Fenton back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeWitt started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Rowynn Moore paced DeWitt's offense, picking up ten kills. Moore got some help from Delainey Buchanen and her 19 assists. Jenna Hitchcock controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

DeWitt now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Fenton, they pushed their record up to 2-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

DeWitt has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Gull Lake on the 27th. As for Fenton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mt. Pleasant on the 27th.
