Florence piles up the points against Chino Valley

Recap: Florence Gophers vs. Chino Valley Cougars
The Florence Gophers's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by Chino Valley on the road to the tune of 46-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Florence also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Florence got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was E.C. Turk-Francis out in front who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Keylee Scarbrough was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Florence's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Chino Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Florence will be playing at home against Palo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chino Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Red Rock at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Rock is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
