Basketball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Midway lost against Fairmont back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Midway Raiders took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Fairmont, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will challenge Spring Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairmont, they will take on High Point Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
