Desert Ridge's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Queen Creek Bulldogs. The Jaguars have beaten the Bulldogs the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

While Desert Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Desert Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Queen Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Desert Ridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Queen Creek will square off against rival Higley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
