Softball Recap: Cathedral Catholic Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cathedral Catholic had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Torrey Pines Falcons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Mimi Botticelli, who gave up just three hits to keep Torrey Pines off the board.

At the plate, Cathedral Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Marlin, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
