Volleyball Recap: Manokotak Takes a Loss

Manokotak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Togiak Huskies. The Lynx were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Manokotak may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Manokotak's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Togiak, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Manokotak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Chief Ivan Blunka on the 7th. Togiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
