Basketball Recap: Georgia Christian Comes Up Short

Georgia Christian was the 74-65 winner over Citizens Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Georgia Christian Generals took an 80-66 bruising from the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (61), the Generals still had to take the loss.

Georgia Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Georgia Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Highland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they will take on Deerfield-Windsor in a tournament on Friday. One thing working in Citizens Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
