Baseball Recap: Seaside Victorious

While Seaside put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Evergreen. The Seagulls came out on top against the Plainsmen by a score of 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Seagulls: when they faced off against the Plainsmen two weeks ago, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Seaside and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Evergreen, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Seaside will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Scappoose at 5:00 p.m. This will be the Seagulls' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Evergreen, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Heritage on the 7th.
