Recap: Boerne Greyhounds vs. Bandera BULLDOGS
In what's become a running theme this season, the Boerne Greyhounds gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Bandera with a sharp 58-34 win. The win was familiar territory for Boerne who now have eight in a row.
Casen Hoegemeyer was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hank Hendrix, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Boerne's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5. As for Bandera, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wimberley the next time they take the court. Bandera will host Wimberley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Boerne will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
