Soccer Recap: Pierce Takes a Loss

Pierce lost against Williams back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pierce Bears came up short against the Williams Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 920th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 292nd).

Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Williams, they pushed their record up to 10-0-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Williams, they will welcome Winters at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
