Basketball Game Preview: Boswell Pioneers vs. Weatherford Kangaroos

The Boswell Pioneers will square off against the Weatherford Kangaroos at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Boswell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

On Tuesday, Boswell came up short against North Crowley and fell 63-56. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Panthers are ranked 14th).

Weatherford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 75-65 to Lake Ridge on Tuesday.

Boswell has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season. As for Weatherford, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-8.
