Volleyball Recap: Rockwell Takes a Loss

Rockwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the American Prep WV Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-17.

Kyra Lundgreen paced Rockwell's offense, picking up five kills. Lundgreen got some help from Hope Lane and her ten assists.

Rockwell's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for American Prep WV, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Rockwell has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Merit Preparatory Academy on the 25th. American Prep WV has also already played their next match (against Freedom Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
