Softball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short

Ray managed to slip by London the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ray Texans lost 15-3 to the London Pirates on Saturday. The Texans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Jewelia Vasquez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for London, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
