Basketball Recap: MACCRAY Comes Up Short

MACCRAY was the 69-61 winner over Ortonville when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The MACCRAY Wolverines fell to the Ortonville Trojans 64-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.

MACCRAY has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Ortonville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-19.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MACCRAY will venture away from home to square off against Dawson-Boyd at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Ortonville, they will head out on the road to challenge Ashby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
