Atascocita's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Dayton as Atascocita made off with a 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.
Maya Hernandez looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Rhilynn McCoy and Ashlee Elizarraras did most of the damage at the plate: McCoy went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Elizarraras went a perfect3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs Elizarraras has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Pittman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spring took on Paetow on Thursday. Spring came out on top against Paetow by a score of 7-3.
Mikayla Zepeda spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. What's more, she also gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Hailey Jones-Calais was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Keona Jackson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Atascocita's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Spring, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Atascocita was able to grind out a solid victory over Spring when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 3-0. Will Atascocita repeat their success, or does Spring have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
