Woods Charter won the last time they faced Research Triangle and Valentina Podolyanskaya did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wolves put the hurt on the Raptors with a sharp 39-15 victory on Monday for which the team can thank Podolyanskaya, who shot 44% from the field en route to 18 points and four steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Woods Charter's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Woods Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wake Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Research Triangle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-30 loss against American Leadership Academy-Johnston on the 20th.
