Basketball Recap: Santino Almazan Key Part of a Team Effort in Lions Win

Pima typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Pusch Ridge Christian Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pima Roughriders 35-32. The 35-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Santino Almazan, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Hardeman, who earned ten points.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Pima, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-3.
