Volleyball Recap: Oneida Nation Takes a Loss

Oneida Nation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crivitz Wolverines, falling 3-0. The Thunderhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-15.

Crivitz was led to victory by Izzy Wesoloski and Hattie Frievalt. Wesoloski had eight digs and three aces, while Frievalt had nine assists and three aces. That's the most aces Wesoloski has posted over her last seven contests.

Oneida Nation's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Crivitz, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Crivitz has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Suring on the 30th. Hopefully Oneida Nation paid attention to the Wolverines' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
