Basketball Recap: East Harlem Takes a Loss

If East Harlem was riding high fresh off their 81-27 takedown of Laguardia last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. East Harlem lost to the Democracy Prep Dragons on the road by a 72-56 margin on Thursday. East Harlem has struggled against Democracy Prep recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

East Harlem's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Democracy Prep, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Harlem will take on Math Science & Engineering at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Harlem is facing Math Science & Engineering at the right time seeing as Math Science & Engineering is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Democracy Prep, they will challenge Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Environmental has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
