Volleyball Recap: Colony Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Soldotna + How To Watch

Colony faced Soldotna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Stars. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stars earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Colony's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 21-12. As for Soldotna, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Colony will head out on the road to take on Kenai Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Soldotna will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' contest: after the Knights face off against the Kardinals, they'll take on Soldotna again at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
