Football Recap: McAlester Buffaloes vs. Ada Cougars
The matchup between McAlester and Ada on Friday hardly resembled the 10-2 effort from their previous meeting. The Buffaloes fell 37-27 to the Cougars. The Buffaloes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Several Buffaloes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Clark, who rushed for 117 yards and one score. Clark didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended one pass. Jaxon McKinney was another key player, rushing for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Brock Boyles had a dynamite game For Ada., throwing for 228 yards and three TDs, while also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. What's more, Boyles posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Caron Richardson helped out on the ground, rushing for 153 yards.
