Basketball Recap: Greenwood's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Greenwood's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 45-40 W over the Snyder Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Rangers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Snyder had strong showings from Ethan Rios, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Stryker Brashear, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points.

Greenwood moved to 7-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Snyder, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Greenwood will take on Gatesville in a tournament on December 26th. As for Snyder, they will head out to take on Plainview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
