Volleyball Recap: Chesnee's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chesnee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the North Central Knights on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hayden Roberts paced Chesnee's offense, picking up 13 kills. Roberts got some help from Abbie Olson and her 11 assists.

The loss snapped Chesnee's winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 22-5-1 record. As for North Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5-1 record this season.

Chesnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Landrum on the 4th.
