Basketball Recap: Ogemaw Heights Finds Home Court Redemption Against Houghton Lake

There's no place like home for Ogemaw Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They walked away with a 49-40 victory over the Houghton Lake Bobcats on Tuesday. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

The win got Ogemaw Heights back to even at 4-4. As for Houghton Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Ogemaw Heights Falcons challenge the Shepherd Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Houghton Lake, they will square off against Roscommon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roscommon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season.
