Crosby waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the George Ranch Longhorns with a 63-58 win. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Longhorns back in November, they had to take a 58-55 defeat.

Crosby's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TYLER EADEN, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of RYLAN ANDERSON, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 17 points.

Crosby has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for George Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Crosby and George Ranch could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Crosby (ranked 506th) will meet Paetow (ranked 178th) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, George Ranch (ranked 255th) will meet Clear Springs (ranked 59th) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
