Basketball Game Preview: South Lake Eagles vs. Windermere Prep Lakers

The South Lake Eagles will take on the Windermere Prep Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Lake will be strutting in after a win while Windermere Prep will be coming in after a defeat.

South Lake will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Freedom, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. South Lake secured a 33-29 W over Freedom on Tuesday.

South Lake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Cochran led the charge by putting up eight points. Another player making a difference was Ale Franceschi, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Windermere Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cardinal Mooney.

South Lake is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Windermere Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

South Lake came up short against Windermere Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 43-35. Can South Lake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
