Challis had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Mackay Miners by a score of 30-18. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Challis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Garrison Applegate and Lj Hutchison.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mackay fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Although Mackay took the loss, they still got scores from Ryker Summers, Otto Johnson, and Kyren Follett.
