 Borah is 0-4 against Owyhee since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Borah Lions will be staying on the road  to face off against the Owyhee Storm at 6:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Borah is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Idaho's top teams: Boise, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Borah was ranked 16th). Borah never let Boise onto the board and left with  a   3-0  win  on Saturday.
 Meanwhile, Owyhee had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with  an  11-1 victory. Owyhee might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten games by six  runs or more this season.
 Owyhee got a  massive  performance out of  Gage Haws, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keagan Kelly, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Borah's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Owyhee, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Borah has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Owyhee struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
