Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lanier County). Everything went their way against the Valdosta Wildcats on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-3 victory. It was an even better day for Sayla Schade as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the third in a row for Lanier County, bringing their record up to 6-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for Valdosta, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Coming up, Lanier County is taking a road trip to challenge Vidalia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valdosta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Valdosta will be up against Brunswick's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.54 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
