Soccer Game Preview: Vasquez vs. Rosamond + How To Watch

The Vasquez Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Rosamond Roadrunners at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Vasquez will be strutting in after a victory while Rosamond will be coming in after a defeat.

While Vasquez fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They walked away with a 4-2 win over Lifeline Charter on Wednesday. Julian Saravia had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Vasquez.

Meanwhile, Rosamond fell victim to Eastside and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for Rosamond in their meetings with Eastside: they've now lost three in a row.

Vasquez came out on top in a nail-biter against Rosamond when the teams last played back in May of 2021, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
