Baseball Recap: Mountain Lake/Comfrey vs. Cleveland Clippers

Mountain Lake/Comfrey extended their losing streak to six on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 1-11 in the process. They fell 5-2 to the Cleveland Clippers. Mountain Lake/Comfrey was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cleveland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khalid Fontanez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
