Baseball Recap: Christchurch School Takes a Loss

Christchurch School lost against Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Christchurch School lost 13-1 to Catholic. The Seahorses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christchurch School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mac Bargatze, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Christchurch School's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christchurch School will challenge Hampton Roads Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christchurch School's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hampton Roads Academy has averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season. As for Catholic, they will square off against Trinity Episcopal at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Trinity Episcopal's pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
