Soccer Game Preview: Keller Central vs. Byron Nelson

The Keller Central Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Byron Nelson Bobcat at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Keller Central managed to keep up with Southlake Carroll until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Keller Central lost 4-0 to Southlake Carroll. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Dragons are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Byron Nelson came up short against Bell on Tuesday, falling 4-1.

Keller Central's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Byron Nelson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-4.
