Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Kickapoo

There's no place like home for Kickapoo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-39 win over the De Soto Pirates on Friday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 61-58 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Kickapoo pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for De Soto, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Kickapoo has already played their next matchup (against North Crawford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. De Soto has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Brookwood.
