Baseball Recap: Clemens Falls Short of Eagle Pass in the Playoffs

Clemens and Eagle Pass squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clemens had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Buffaloes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Eagle Pass, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clemens beat Eagle Pass by a score of 5-3 on Saturday.
