Volleyball Preview: Helix Highlanders vs. Pacific Ridge Firebirds
The Helix Highlanders will take on the Pacific Ridge Firebirds at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Helix won the last time they faced West Hills, and Nathan Steele did his part to make sure it happened again. The Highlanders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wolf Pack on Friday for which the team can thank Steele, who had 23 digs and three aces. He has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times he's played.
Helix walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pacific Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Madison by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19.
Pacific Ridge pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Helix, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.
