Football Recap: Vidor Takes a Loss

Vidor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. The contest between the Pirates and the Lumberton Raiders didn't end well, with the Pirates falling 42-28. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly 14 points.

Vidor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lumberton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Vidor wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-19 win against Liberty on the 24th. As for Lumberton, they have also already played their next game, a 45-20 victory against Hardin-Jefferson on the 24th.
