Cobre entered their tilt with Hatch Valley on Saturday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-0 on Saturday.

Bella Saiz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isenya Silva, who went 2-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Ayvah Ortiz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cobre was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.

Cobre's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hatch Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Cobre will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
