Basketball Recap: Milford Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dover, Milford was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Smyrna Eagles out 54-52. While the Buccaneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Smyrna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Milford will take on Caesar Rodney at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smyrna, they will welcome Sussex Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sussex Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Smyrna surely won't give up without a fight.
