Football Game Preview: Vista del Lago Ravens vs. Liberty Bison + How To Watch

Vista del Lago is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Liberty Bison at 7:30 p.m. Vista del Lago's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Liberty's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Vista del Lago is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Granite Hills with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-21.

Vista del Lago's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Fuller, who picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Another receiver making a difference was Jae'Lynn Brown, who picked up 99 receiving yards and one score.

Another reason for the win was Vista del Lago's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Romeo Baldwin and Tevita Avatongo, who racked up four sacks between them. Baldwin also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13. Another thorn in Granite Hills' side was Brandon Price, who picked up a sack and made four total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 40-21 bruising from Tahquitz.

Vista del Lago will have to contain Trent Hallis as he made an impact in Liberty's last game. He rushed for 106 yards and one TD.

Vista del Lago's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.8 points over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
